The Last Mixtape is a sonic experience that documents the life of award-winning artist, producer, composer, and musician, ALäZ. This project is the product of a journey through 5 cities:

Los Angeles, CA

It is a journey of self-reflection, self-discovery, and self-improvement with the goal to become a world-class resource in the sector of arts and culture to contribute to global community development. It is a journey unapologetically rooted in the Black Muslim experience in the Nation of Islam yet connected to every facet of our human family.

From January 1st to December 31st, listener's will be treated to 5 seasons of diverse sounds and textures including hip hop, instrumental fusion, r&b, and world music soundscapes.

The anchor number of 5 represents the five pillars of his faith:

Belief

Prayer

Charity

Fasting

Pilgrimage

5 also represents the senses that help us to fully experience abundant life, the hand that we can use to reach out to connect with our neighbors, the unity of the fist when all of our fingers are together, and the 5% who teach Freedom, Justice, and Equality to all the human family of the planet Earth.

Lastly, The Last Mixtape will be the final project that ALäZ will make available on as a tribute to the entrepreneurial genius of No Limit and Cash Money Records, The Bay Area music movement, and Nipsey Hussle.
