The Black Stories EP is inspired by the work of Dr. Thomas Duval to promote the awareness and acceptance of our ancestral obligation to know and teach about our ancestors then build on their foundation focusing first on literacy.

Each track takes you through the incredible stories of some of Macon, Georgia's most prominent Black figures including William and Ellen Craft, Ruth Hartley Mosley, Frank Johnson, and Charles Henry Douglass.

About the Artist

Vinson ALäZ Muhammad is a servant. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Coollab Project, an open mic and jam session platform for artists. Born in a house in Macon, GA, he is an award-winning recording artist, writer, producer, composer, and edutainer that has completed 9 recording projects, 3 national tours, and performed internationally in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. He is the 2024 recipient of the Dream Award recognized for his artistic accomplishments and community contributions. A graduate of Morehouse College and 1500 Sound Academy, ALäZ credits include collaborations with artists from Roc Nation, Dreamville, and RCA Records along with brands like the NFL, Disney, and the Harlem Globetrotters. As a community servant, ALäZ also serves as the Executive Producer of the Real Talk Hip Hop Summit in Macon, GA.
